HB 1094 would have allowed a person who has quit a job due to domestic abuse to be considered for unemployment benefits as long as other conditions are met; not be required to actively seek work for the first 45 days after filing a benefits claim; and refuse to accept new work if that employer is not accommodating to the needs relating to domestic abuse.
