Anne has practiced law since 1984. Prior to that she was a psychiatric social worker and consultant on spinal cord injuries. She currently practices with McGihon & Associates, LLC, located just 5 blocks south of the State Capitol. During the past 19 years, Anne's practice has ranged from drafting legislation to complex commercial transactions. She has litigated cases on white collar crime, and prosecuted professional liability actions. Her practice now emphasizes small business, commercial litigation, employment, election law and campaign ethics.

Anne has written legal articles on banking and litigation. She has been a speaker for the Colorado Department of Local Affairs Special District Elections workshops. Anne has conducted seminars on the Voting Rights Act and Ballot Access, Election Law, as well as on banking issues, such as lender liability.
